Winter is about Fashion, isn’t it? Plaids can never go out of trend and even if it goes, I would still wear it when I want. 😛 I have paired this warm winter plaid formal dress in a casual way as even though you try being casual the full look of this dress in itself is too formal, moreover the length it’s neither short nor midi. Though, I abhor this length but there is something in this dress that’s making me fall in love with it.
No, it doesn’t look good with knee high boots or be it any boots for that matter until and unless it’s with heels and even heels will look good when the boots or pumps are ankle length. If you have short height, you can avoid it but if you really love it go for high heels. If you have an average height like me, go for it but again heels are must and for all you tall girls each and everything for you is a keep! 🙂
Black heels won’t do justice like the black sling did, so go for red or bottle green coloured pumps. Keep your hair loose and stuck it inside your dress or half tie them, full loose hair can look too messy and won’t justify the full chic look. Wear that red lips and arch your brows right and you are good to go.
You can head to Dressy Star to buy this Stand Collar Red Plaid Woolen Tea-Length Overcoat that you can also wear as a dress like I have. If you choose to wear it as an overcoat, wear a marsala or navy slip dress inside and you can rock that look too. I personally felt that it looks good more as a dress because of the dress like pleats.
