People tend to fall in love with (in) Venice but it did not appeal to me as a city where you can even spend your two nights. Like why would you spend your days in such a commercialized place that is not even clean? It’s like such a crowded place that people would have been walking over the lake if it were possible. It has become such a major tourist junction that it is nothing similar to those dreamy Venice pictures. Moreover the weather in June is pathetic and you can only manage to scout with your explorer’s hat or you can get severe burns. Other than all the chaos, it is rightly said that it is best to explore the city on foot rather than on your motorboats or gandolas as every nook and corner has something in store for you. It is certainly of no doubt that this place can give you some serious good pictures. 😉
But if you are visiting Venice, don’t forget to visit Burano. It is one of the island in Venice where you will find all the different colored buildings together and yes thankfully, it is not much crowded. It’s around 40 minutes far from Venice and you have to hire a motorboat to reach there. Other than that you can find some good luxury brands with great deals that are worth a pick.
To roam around in Venice and to keep it cool in this hot weather, I picked up this summer dress from StalkBuyLove, because of the heat, I paired it up with the crochet shrug that I bought from Dilli Haat, years back. Also when you have to be on your foot all day long, I prefer flats, this tan fringes one I picked from Forever 21.
Until next post.
