The day started with the offsite show presented by Gauri and Nainika at the Amazon India Fashion Week. The designer duo’s Autumn Winter collection was in collaboration with American artist Travis Bruce Black, who created the imageries of pansies. The collection was vibrant with a touch of pop colours. Also the designs were not limited to only dress but one could also witness some great gowns.
Next show was presented by Dolly J. Her collection was named, Saudade “Love that remains”, which describes a deep emotional state of longing romance. The looks target a chic and sophisticated woman who longs for global craftsmanship and best embroideries on her outfit.
We fell in love with Joy Mitra’s collection. It was exquisite and was just for a modern women who longs for sophistication with a tinge of handcrafted embroideries in her ensembles. Joy Mitra Designs focus on vintage and delicate embellishments juxtaposed with modern and subtle styling. The intricate gold embroideries on the classical ajrakh prints in a contemporary avatar were a delight to the onlookers.
Autumn/ Winter collection from Soltee by Sulakshana Monga was named as Pathless Woods. It aimed to create silhouettes of a surreal world, taking inspirations from nature and woods. The colours substantially used were white and black.
