As the fashion madness continued and lingered over all of us, we realised that it was also the time for it to end. No matter how tired we were in these 5 days of roller coaster rides but eventually we all miss such events where we can share the heat of our passion with others.
Day 4 started with soothing outfits that one would be happy to adorn at any time of the day. Dot on a Walk by Ilk was rightly on point when it came to Autumn Winter clothing in this Amazon India Fashion Week. Ilk used an age old artistic technique called ‘Pointillism’. “This technique derived from the Art Movement heavily relies on using tiny dots of varying colors to create depth in a work of art”. The patterns on the outfits looked liked as if they are drawn on a canvas such was the signature detailing by the designers.
If you are looking for fun, laid back and easy clothing to match with your relaxed conscience then a cue from Lovebirds. The easy breezy Autumn Winter clothing will not make you think twice to get up from your winter bed and so was the timeless collection from Eka. This time soft silhouettes that are layered without any size proportions was a common thing that can be seen in most of the Autumn Winter collections. The neutral palette becomes the face of India Modern this year.
Indian textiles with a contemporary twist was the style inspiration for Bodice. They have used some traditional modern staples and have added a pinch of innovation to the same. In the pictures below, you will see how they have used Indian textiles to voice their take on India Modern. On the similar grounds was the collection from Anavila, her collection ‘Folk’ once upon a time is inspired by eternal free spirited muse. Her contemporary take on traditional yarn and designs left us spellbound. The ramp was taken over by earthy hues of woody browns, brick, wine, teals, olives and sap greens.
Next came Ikai, the collection was an amalgamation of formal and everyday wear with relaxed and refined silhouettes. Their key pieces being the maxi jackets, boxy dresses and leather bra lets.
The show that nailed it on the day 4 of Amazon India Fashion Week was Péro by Aneeth Arora. The collection was full of lovely black and white checkered prints with poppies peeping from here and there. Aneeth Arora always brings up some cute little elements in her brand label Péro to make you all go restless to own and play in one of her pieces.
